Today, the various PCB applications need to use different substrates for printed circuit boards.
While for the most part of standard applications ,the classic FR4 material it’s enough, possibly in the high Tg version (for the best thermomechanical properties), for other sectors (such as high frequencies) alternative materials are absolutely necessary, from standard FR4 materials to HF materials (High Frequency) & RF (Radio Frequency), Controlled Impedance, HDI (High Density Interconnect), IMS (Aluminum), HPL (High Power Lighting), BGA & Fine Pitch, Flexible, Rigid-Flexible with a Thick Copper, Low / High Temperature and Polyimide, with a wide range of material supplying , including Kingboard, Bergquist, Rogers, Island, Arlon, Taconic, Du Pont, Iteq, Nelco and Ventec.
